Clovelly to Bondi

One of our goals for 2016 is to get outdoors more and today we did just that!

I'm really lucky to live in Sydney and don't take advantage of our beaches enough... I haven't actually been to the beach to swim or relax for years.

Today we decided to tackle the Clovelly to Bondi walk, followed by the Bondi to Clovelly walk to get back to the car. It was such a beautiful day for it and I am feeling proud, exhausted and a little embarrassed by my awkward ankle and wrist sunburn!

Once we made it to Bondi we celebrated with Funky Pies, which is a really delicious vegan pie shop. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo but we both had the Funky Chunky which tasted exactly like a standard meat pie...but better!

I also had to make a stop at Messina to try their Fairy Bread gelato and it was AMAZING!! Butter and toast ice cream mixed with hundreds and thousands! Soooo goooooodddddd.

It was also amazing to burn such a high calorie amount on a Sunday afternoon!

I am really excited to start making giant walks and hikes a regular occurrence so if anyone has any ideas definitely let me know!

Goodbye 2015

What a year 2015 was! I can't believe it is over already.

This was an interesting year for me. I had my heartbroken within the first 2 weeks, I was lucky enough to lean heavily on my friends and family and built incredibly strong bonds with them from this. I travelled to America for my first solo trip and was able to spend a lot of quality time with my beautiful best friend Chelsea and her family in California. I changed jobs and landed on my feet in a specialist position focusing purely on what makes me happy. I went on a mother/daughter holiday. I saw two of my dearest friends get married.  I watched my nephew turn 6, I saw my brother celebrate his first wedding anniversary with my sister in law and finally started this crazy blog that has been on my mind for years!

I have had a beautiful year but my favourite part of 2015 was meeting Scott, isn't it crazy how much one person can come into your life and clear all the mess out of your head and fill you up with love and happiness? I am so amazed by him. Thank you for being you.

So I guess that brings me onto what this year looks like? I am really looking forward to 2016, I am determined to make this my year. I turn 25 so I guess that makes me an adult now.

I'm not setting myself any resolutions but I am going to focus on getting my life together, I am going to move out of home and get my finances on the right track. I am going to live in the NOW and stop stressing over the small stuff because my brain needs the break.

Happy New Year, I wish you every happiness and love for 2016 xo
